Saltstraumen this beautiful evening August 13th 2019

Two 4 hours long guided trips today, gave some nice fishes :) the coalfish was there 🐟✌ Alot of good mood and good smiles 💥😊 Total success 🥇

We think it is better to test our gear on BIG fish - So that is what we did. The Okuma Azores and Savage Salt 1 DFR jigging got into some lip rippin' in Norway! A 135 cm halibut tried to get away, but failed.

Steve Ace and the boys are back to do some shore fishing:) here are the words from Steve : Another tremendously enjoyable day at saltstraumen, no real whoppers but steady sport throughout the day . Tactics were mostly spinning with shads , fished deep for cod , but higher in the water column for coalfish . Rhubarb and custard punished um , but the heavier of the number 4 blue fish minnow caught its share with tackle losses minimal as fished weedless. Dudders took up where he left off yesterday scoring heavily with a succession of qaulity coalfish best going 14lb 8oz which got his blood pumping . Minnie and I joined the party soon enough with cod and coalfish doubles also. A small hali of around 12lb broke the coalie run , and a nice Pollack of 13lb 8oz finished the day a treat .
